– Broadleaf hellebore* (Epipactis helleborine), an orchid native to Europe, is blooming with greenish purple flowers.
– California honeysuckle (Lonicera hispidula). This vine is blooming with pink flowers.
– California spikenard (Aralia californica) is blooming now with white fireworks blooms along creeks that will fruit into black berries. One of the largest herbaceous plants in North America, it grows as tall as 10′ after dying back each season.
– Creeping snowberry (Symphoricarpos mollis) a small perennial shrub is blooming with pink bells that will become white berries.
– Spicebush (Calycanthus occidentalis) not at all common in Southern Marin, this large, deciduous shrub is blooming along the creek just down from the first bridge in Three Groves.
– Woodland madia (Anisocarpus madioides) is blooming with bright yellow flowers in forests.
